Johnson Health Tech Australia Creates New Staff Roles to Support Rapid Growth

VIC, Australia (August 2018) - Matrix Fitness Australia parent company; Johnson Health Tech Australia (JHTA) is celebrating the appointment of a number of experienced employees in newly-created roles to coincide with its rapid growth in the Australian fitness industry. Garry Moon, Layne Quinn, Michael Cincotta, Nick Hadjistefanis and Rochelle Baker have all joined Johnson Health Tech Australia in roles to support the company’s development and evolution into one of Australia’s leading suppliers of commercial and home use fitness equipment.

In July of this year, Johnson Health Tech Australia named Garry Moon National Product Manager. Moon, who joins JHTA with more than 30 years of proven fitness business experience, will provide product strategy expertise for both the commercial and retail segments in Australia, as well as logistics support, product line optimisation and brand marketing strategy.

Joining Garry Moon in the management division is Layne Quinn, who joins JHTA as Sales Support Manager. With over 15 years’ experience in the health club industry, Quinn will oversee the inside sales process, as well as venture into new sales channels for the vertical market, municipal facilities and active aging/rehab channels. Quinn has extensive experience in the industry stemming from a long career with health club chain Genesis Fitness.

The Matrix Fitness commercial sales team also welcomes Michael Cincotta, who joins JHTA as Commercial Sales Executive for the NSW and ACT region. Cincotta is backed by strong hands-on experienced in the sports and fitness space after working for activeware manufacturer ASICS.

Supporting the outside sales team is Nick Hadjistefanis, who has been promoted to Inside Sales Representative from the Supply Chain department. Hadjistefanis joined JHTA in 2014 and was pivotal in coordinating the company’s relocation from Morwell to Dandenong South in 2017. His proven experience with the company and extensive product knowledge will be invaluable to the JHTA team.

Joining Nick as an Inside Sales Representative is Rochelle Baker, who joins JHTA after a 10 year tenor with Australian Barbell Company. Rochelle will be coordinating the inside sales procedure for our retail partners Sportspower, Intersport and SRG group, as well as our key commercial accounts including Goodlife Health Clubs, Snap Fitness and Fitness First.
