Matrix Fitness to Launch Two-Way Compatibility with Apple Watch

When Apple unveiled watchOS 4, the new Apple Watch operating system, it was clear that the focus was on fitness. Apple is bringing even more fitness features to its new OS with support for a new technology platform called GymKit, which will let users wireless sync fitness data between cardio machines at a gym and their Apple Watches. 

Matrix Fitness is pleased to announce they will be an equipment manufacturer that will help launch GymKit to the market later this spring. GymKit, announced at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference will allow Apple Watch to seamlessly connect in real time to select fitness equipment.

Matrix Fitness & The Biggest Loser: Transformed – Helping Contestants Perfect their Training Technique

Head trainers Shannan Ponton and Libby Babet utilised Matrix products during Channel Ten’s The Biggest Loser: Transformed to help contestants reach their fitness goals during the series which was broadcast 14 March - 1 May 2017.  It was Lynton, the 27-year-old flight instructor from Queensland who took the win, and with it the $100k prize money.
